Different Types of Photo Mosaic Pictures
In addition to the classic mosaic picture, where the tiles are arranged side by side and one below the other with the same aspect ratio, Rapid-Mosaic and Foto-Mosaik-Edda can also create other types of mosaic pictures – a selection of mosaic styles you won’t find with other providers or programs.
Classic
The classic mosaic picture is the simplest mosaic style. Here, the tiles are arranged side by side and one below the other, with all mosaic tiles having the same format.
Parquet
Here, the tiles are arranged like a parquet floor. This allows landscape and portrait tiles to be used together in the same picture. When creating a parquet mosaic picture, you can choose from various patterns.
Chaos
In this style, the tiles are arranged on top of and below each other with random sizes and rotations, creating a collage effect. This gives the mosaic picture the impression that a large stack of photos has been thrown onto the floor and scattered around. The original format of the database tiles is preserved.
Detail
For even more customized visual effects, the tiles in the mosaic picture are automatically divided into many smaller tiles wherever the original image contains a lot of detail. The number of subdivision steps and the sensitivity to color variations can be adjusted as desired.
